Placement drives can take place in any of four modes, depending on the recruiter and the cohort.

What this covers.

On-campus placement drive
The drive takes place in the students' own institute — the recruiting company's team visits and conducts the rounds of interview on that campus.

Off-campus placement drive
The drive is hosted at another institute as a pool campus drive, where students from different colleges appear for the interview process.

At the company premises
The whole recruitment process takes place at the office premises of the recruiting company.

E-campus placement drive
Interviews are conducted telephonically, over video, or through other technology — students are interviewed by company officials without being physically present.
